Nowadays you can almost ask yourself in what isolated place you have lived because you don't know the game Bejeweled. Many even look at its success to the well-known game Tetris. Maybe you have heard about it when PopCap launched bejeweled 3 of the game soon after the successful bejeweled 2? Anyway, EA Mobile determined a while ago to release this game for the android phones as well.
For anyone who don't know the game yet: the objective of bejeweled is to make 3 of the similar colored jewels connected either horizontally or vertical. Whenever you are allowed to swap two jewels in the playfield to have those connections. When three of the same color connect, they will vanish. The jewels on top of the three will plunge down and newer will move in. When you are able to make a chain reaction of '3 jewels connect', your points is going to skyrocket!
The android OS version of bejeweled is playable in normal and time trial mode. The normal mode will let you keep playing until you run out of compositions. I guess the time trial mode speaks for itself. In the years bejeweled was around I have enjoyed these kinds of game versions online. All of these are beautifully animated and have a fast paced gameplay. The visuals of the game don't make any difference that much, it's the concept of the game and that fast gameplay that make that 'Bejeweled experience'. Trying out the game on some older versions of the Google android phones really ruined the gameplay, because it is so terribly slow. Furthermore the sounds used in the game aren't that superb. Ultimately that does not matter that much at all. To me the game Bejeweled for android is rated nothing higher than a straight six.
