He said that with his accounting service he will do all the bill paying and accounts receivable for some of the community business owners and for others he only does their taxes, again it actually depends on competence and comfort level of the individual. He advised me to keep every receipt from expenditures as I started my business so that I would have it for tax time. He provided me some good theories on how to arrange my business files so that they were be the most helpful to me right from the beginning of the business, rather than attempting to organize things down the road.
I'm still in the very starting stages of getting started with my house business, but the accounting service appointment helped me with fantastic concepts of how to organize the paperwork right from the start. Plus I am aware that I have a fantastic resource at my disposal for my accounting questions.
