No one wants to give you a job…

That’s right, no one wants to give you a job.

But if no-one wants to give you a job, how are you going to live.

What they’re after is someone who can solve a problem for them, make them money, save them money and build teams
(but that really comes into problem solving doesn’t it?)

So there’s your answer, if you want a job you have to show your potential employer that you can
1.make them money
OR
2. save them money
OR
3. solve their problems
OR
4. build and lead teams

and you can do it at a price that is LESS than what they will make from your work.
It’s called providing value.

The more value you can provide the more you have to offer and the more you are worth to a potential employer.

So next time instead of asking someone “Do you have a job for me?”
why not try “How can I help you make more money?”
or better yet do some research and find out what they want and then go to them with
“I can help you make more money by XXXXXX”

When you can supply what people want and are willing to pay for you will never have to worry about being out of work.

Life gets exciting then too.

til next time.
